(Yet) Another reason to love your Triumph
Well, I'm 48hrs into my Triumph ownership and am loving every second so far. SO the bike's not perfect but name me one that is. I've owned all the Jap manufacturers and a Duke. I loved the character of the Duke but it lost its charm when it came to servicing time and paying for spares. My Sprint is comfortable fast, well specc'd and has the best (real-world) engine i've ever ridden. But best of all is that it's made 70 miles from where I live by a company that's less than 20 years old and which is making serious inroads into the stranglehold that the Japanese factories have. The new Street Triple is universally acclaimed as have all the recent efforts from Hinckley. And don't forget that Triumph are succeeding in a country where manufacturing has been in serious decline every since the glory days of Margaret Thatcher (yeah right).
I'm proud to be a Triumph owner.
