Welcome to the human race. I'll say this, I can't think of any better way to handle the situation as you handled it. You're not making sorry excuses, you're honestly just admitting a mistake. Sure wish people were more like you.
Although I seem to have the kickstand action correct so far since I ALWAYS look at it to be sure it is down before leaning on it, every once in a while I give it gas to ride off only to realize I'm still in neutral.
You're a fine example of a person with a great attitude to me. Sorry, I won't vote you in for Idiot of the Year Award.
