2007 Tiger Fuel Gauge

I've not seen too much comment on the trip computer fitted to the '07 Tiger, but I'd like others comments on a couple of issues:

1) I've checked and rechecked the actual fuel mileage and compared it to that shown by the computer. Fact is that the computer is extemely accurate if you calculate actual mpg based on a UK gallon! As every good beer drinker knows, the US pint is 16oz while the Imperial pint is 20oz. So, 128oz US Vs 160oz UK per gallon.

2) And why after a 200 mile ride does the fuel gauge show two bars remaining and zero bars the next morning?

Come on Triumph, with the US being your biggest potential market, why let down an otherwise terrific motorcycle with presumably simple-to-fix bugs like this.
