Problem is friend has done not significant riding to no what average would be. He has used this particular bike for commuting and yes he does 100 mph every where he goes.
But, from your post above it would seem that the bike is capable of getting 45 mpg if rode accordingly. I was hoping for at least 38 mpg which would allow for the fuel stops I have planned so far (remember we will be on the great slab averaging 70+ mph most of the trip). 4.6 gallon tank average of 38 mpg would be an effective range of 170 + miles. This sound about right to you guys who have taken a significant trip on your Daytona?
