I just got back yesterday and have never done so much drooling over roads in my life.
Mile after mile after mile after mile of twisty B road. Mostly in good shape, although some rough asphalt and some gravelly roads.
The whole country is covered with twisties and the scenery is absolutely drop dead gorgeous. Every time I passed a biker I would just marvel over how much fun I knew they were having.
Most of the roads, however, say...90%...are blind corners with hedgerows and stone walls obscuring view. Still...the Guinness and pub music makes up for that.
Aside from renting in the U.K. and boating over, I might try to contact a local bike owner and try to arrange a private week long rental. Rentals are way expensive at around $1000 per week. I would rent my bike to someone for that kind of change for 1 week if I had a security deposit.
