A photo would be great. What adapters are you referring to? Where I am having the problem is the rubber manifold that connects to the carb spiggot does not have enough surface area to actually secure the carb.The carb comes off when the hose clamp in installed. Looking inside the rubber manifold there is about an eigth of an inch space from the spiggort and the manifold seal. This rubber manifold needs to go further on the spiggot about another eight of an inch.
I have the carb brace from my air box kit. Even with that, the carbs are not really securely fastened.
