I'm glad you've been enjoying and following the projects dynagroove; that's why I'm posting them!

I knocked out all the body work on the tail fairings and snorkels last night, and went in this morning and primed the pieces. They look good, and should sand out really well. My plan is to allow the pieces to cure for about 10 days and then do the final block sanding and get the paint on them. I have posted an image of a yellow Speed Four that I did a quick photoshop job on. I changed the color to burgundy and the wheels to silver. The actual paint color is much better, but the picture gives an idea. The plan is to use silver Triumph badges on the tank, and I told my friend he can put a decal of his shop name and phone number on the tail fairings' sides. There's a good deal of people that show up to the drags (about 250) so some free advertisement is always helpful to a small business owner. I think I'm going to see if he can use a script for his decal that looks like a stock 02+ Daytona 955i "Electronic Fuel Injection" decal. I'm not sure where the bike numbers will go... maybe on the snorkles. Those, however, I don't want to put on the base coat of paint and clear over them like the rest of the decals. I'd like the numbers to be removable incase I need to change them.

I figured I could get some white vinyl sticker material and cut it to fit over the headlight lenses. This would be a good place to use an erasable marker to write in my estimated 1/4 mile times.

I also figured out a very bitchin' exhaust setup which I'll wait to describe until I get it all fabricated.
