Thump...Thump...

Question for the experts! Recently fininshed a 2 hour ride and as I was nearing home I noticed when I was coasting (either in neutral or with the the clutch pulled in) a constant light thumping felt through the foot pegs. Could not feel the thump when transmission was engaged but may have been there. I want to say it was coming from the rear but couldn' t say for sure. I put it on the stands an examined the tires and saw no problems? Someone sugested possible chain lube? What about you guys... thanks - Web
