Strange, no one would describe me as having a "long oval shaped" head and yet, my Suomy Spec 1R Extreme fits me perfectly. I take a L in the Spec 1R, a L in my last Vemar and a L in my last three Arai's. Go figure. BTW, this latest Spec 1R is really a great helmet.
