Triumph USA's response to Mid-Ohio Mini-Raid
I'm even more impressed with Triumph after this. Apparently people complained about the Mid-Ohio Mini-Raid and what they got for their $25 entry fee besides the T-shirt and a meal.
The event not withstanding, it is very unusual to get such a public "apology" accepting responsibility from a business, and I, for one, really appreciate the candor and promptness with which they handled the situation.
Well done, Triumph!
Here's the letter I got from Triumph Motorcycles (America) today...
Dear Greg,
We've heard from some of the attendees at this past weekend's Mid-Ohio Mini-Raid that our R.A.T. event didn't meet their expectations. It didn't meet ours either.
We always endeavor to deliver a high quality experience to our customers, but we didn't succeed at Mid-Ohio. We made some mistakes, and we were let down by some of our vendors, but at the end of the day, it's our responsibility to make sure we deliver. I apologize for not doing so.
To make up for our poor performance at this event, we have enclosed a $50 voucher which may be used towards any Triumph merchandise at an authorized Triumph dealer. I hope this will make up for any disappointment you experienced this past weekend.
Thank you for choosing Triumph, and we hope to see you at a future event.
Sincerely Yours,
Todd K. Anderson
Vice President, Marketing
