Um, you might want to not do that. I did the same thing and the fairing around the seat is cracking. It looks like there are a couple of points that the seat rests on that is kind of surrounded on the outside by the fairing. Since my seat wasn't really secured down it would slide forward slightly and put pressure on the fairing. I now have a crack about 1.5" long. I'm tempted to try and claim it under warranty but somehow I doubt they'd go for it.
