Oh! But an America has grabbed my heart!

I am at the local Triumph dealer getting the deal sheet for my new Sprint. Replacing my '06 Tiger that is no longer with us (truck pulled out of his driveway in front of me). The Sprint is one bad a**sed motorcycle. A big 3cyl, 125 horsepower, sweet handling etc. Addicted to speed.

While I am goofing around the showroom floor I come across an America.

The bike has the custom seat with pillion, a chrome sissybar with a pad that says "Triumph" and a luggage rack. A perfect wind screen, and shorty exhaust. It was black with Triumph badges on the sides of the tank. It took my breath away. I was rooted to the spot and mesmerized. It had sooo much soul!

Am I going to regret getting the America?

Carburaters again...
Power and acceleration differences...
Is the America as trouble free as the big 3 cylinders?

I realize that the America is a cruiser and not a sport bike. I have no pretentions of it being anything more than a cruiser (but with a heart and soul like no other)

Riding a Triumph cruiser is unique. Not a Harley V-twin or a Honda or Suzuki V-twin etc. Not many others out there with a Triumph twin cruiser. You either have a Triumph or you don't.
