rocker inspection cap 1959
I have stripped one of my rocker inspection caps on the 59. It is the one that has a nut look to it vs. the X slots. I believe the part # is E1564. My question is, are the threads in an X slot inspection cap the same? Are they interchangable?
Side note: it has fallen off about four times. The cap falls off between the carberator and the gas line. One time it fell of and I didn't know it. Someone spotted it laying by the carb and placed it on the seat for me. Good thing it is one of the rear ones.
