My take on a possible "Tiger Cub" is that, whilst there is a market for an off-road capable bike, it may not be a big enough market for Triumph to bother with. I see them going the easy route by doing a smaller version of the 1050 in the same way as the Street Triple is a smaller version of the Speed Triple.
That, of course, leaves the off-road/explorer market to the likes of the Trans-Alp, XT660, F650GS and for the serious and seriously tall the KTM690Adventure which will be launched soon. But, you never know. With Benelli bringing out that 1130cc Amazonas fitted with TCK80s it may stir Triumph into action.
