I really like FirstGear. I've purchased several FG jackets from newenough.com and can highly recommend the brand. The Kilimanjaro is a 3/4 length jacket, and provides a significant amount of protection. I also have a Karma (woman's jacket, but I'm sure something very similar is available for men) and it's great. These are extremely well-made jackets. Also check motorcyclecloseouts.com. Often you can save a bundle by getting last year's model. When FirstGear came out with the new S-Pilot leather jacket, they sold a bunch of the old models to motorcyclecloseouts, and I got a $475 jacket for $189.
