Well, the problem is now sorted. It was the head gasket. Whilst the head was removed I had the valve clearances checked as well seeing as it's coming up to the 24K service. One valve required adjustment.
The cost of all this work???????

I think my next bike won't be a Triumph. They're lovely bikes, but the service costs are just too much.
