97' adventurer stops running after reaching running temp. When starting for the 1st time after overnight sit the bike starts first hit of starter button and runs normal until running temp is reached then shuts off like turning off the key switch, at this time the motor will crank but will not start. After a timely wait of ten minute or so it will start, run normal then die out, running time is shorter than the first. It appears the bike has to cool down to get it started again. This is my 1st major problem with the bike it has been very dependable since new. In the forum I've read about the coils but not much about the igniter or igniter pick up. When going bad what kind of problems will they cause? The igniter or (computer i was told by the triumph dealer )cost $700 with tax, thats very pricey for such a small board. Anyway any input is appreciated.
