I think you are seeing the beginnings of a burned out silencer...there should be no "little hole" where you have a hole burned through in your pic. I have seen evidence of a small leak around the front end seam where it is riveted on the outer body, but I have no hole yet...I only have 1100 miles on mine thus far. We have had 20 straight days of rain, so I haven't been riding too much.

May be a good reason and time to look at all the after-market options for silencers. Wonder what the T dealer would say about trying to get T to warranty this item?
