Stu, you also didn't mention your weight and height nor did you mention your reason for wanting a sport type bike. Like Omaz said, the Sprints are more aggressive ergonomically and are really built more for sport riders who want to do some touring more than the other way around. The pillion comfort is as good as you'll likely get on this type of bike. If it doesn't already have one, get either the OEM gel touring seat or an after-market like a Sargent which will make it more comfy for both of you.

If you're trying to avoid the cruiser category and you're over '6 tall, you might want to look at the Tiger. Same engine, better front suspension and a more upright riding position. I love my Sprint but I ride it like a sport bike only for longer distances than pure sporters.
