I remember reading here somewhere that the brake lines are stainless, just with a rubber covering. Have not verified this yet. Lighting should be upgraded to H4's and normally a new bike needs to have the lights adjusted up wards. They do a great job 15' in front of the bike!!! In the US tho, both lights are lit on low and high beams.
Also no idea about fork braces.
