If you'll notice the next time you see one, the DSSA swing arm has the caliper on the right side of center and the SSSA has the caliper on the left side of the center line. This makes the pads identical except that one is 'Left handed' and one is 'Right handed'. The Daytona with a DSSA also uses the 'Reversed' 215 pads.
The shop shouldn't really have a problem with this since the 214's are used much more than the 215 part number. If it were the other way around I could see them whinning a bit, but now days it seems everyone tries to get a 'Fee' for any inconvenience to them. :evil:
Finally someone who realizes that the '02 Yellow is the true fastest color! Not that banana yellow everyone else has either! :razz:
PS. Have you considered just mounting a set of Sprint bars on you're RS. They are a more relaxed riding position than the RS has and much more attractive than a set of risers IMHO. I've just never liked stuff that is obviously an 'after thought' type of modification, but that's just me.
