Went to a Triumph dealer today, told the sales rep about the Brembo's, the Marchesiani's, the metal tank on the '08 S3, he called some guy at Triumph USA, and got back to me saying (in a rather condescending manner btw) that I was all wrong about the '08 S3. Will still have Nissin's, current wheels and plastic tank.
Was he just trying to sell me an '07 or the used (and rusty, albeit 1800 miles only
) '06 he had on the floor? If so, he could have given me better prices for the ones he had. I mean, $8,500 for a used '06 when blue book says $7,720?
OK, it's not the right season to buy a bike, but still, those NYC area dealers really aggravate me.
