I have the solo seat from Triumph.
I find it to be a lot more comfortable then the stock seat even though it has less padding.
The stock seat put pressure on my butt that would make it go numb. (not good when your brains are down there)
I still use the stock seat when I have a rider. Maybe I'll get a K&Q seat in the future.
