Sorry, mate! but, the '67 is a fave of many, so don't worry 'bout the copycat thing. It'll be done many times. "that shade of red" is actually many coats of candy purple urethane over gold base, which gives it a reddish glow when the sun hits it. In the shade it actually looks more purple.
