i think, for all intents and purposes, that the bikes are the sme spec. sssa, 147hp, the ce had lots of CF that the standard 04 doesn't.
i'm not sure of any changes to the electical system, etc but that would be worth a look. these bikes are known to be very reliable overall.
tough call for 1800 - that's a lot of coin. the only up of the new bike is the warranty. the old bike is the sme bike, with a 1-off paintjob and a little exlusivity.
i think the 02 will be a better buy, as the new 955 really has ***** resale. the less you lose off the top the better. the ce ought to hold it's value a bit better as it's 'special'.
