The part numbers are the same (see my post above). My guses is that grouping parts under the "Sixty8" theme is primarily for marketing.

I would speculate that if you ordered the Black Contemporary Seat (T2300603) AFTER you bought the bike, then the seat would come with the Sixty8 removable sticker attached. If you get the same seat as original equipment, Triumph may leave the sticker off. Just a theory. If you don't like the sticker it is easy to remove it.

BMW is equally clever, they market a lot of fine clothes but not everyone wants the BMW propeller showing, so BMW makes it easy to snip it off.

Bottom line, Triumph is trying to offer accessories and refine their marketing. In most cases we benefit from this ultimately. (Now, go get worked up about something important, like politicians with no back bones :wink:
