Hi all,
just got back from a great ride up the East coast road in Tassie. On Saturday myself and some Tasrats went up to Bicheno for the annual Show'n'Shine, via Richmond, Buckland, and Swansea. From there we went straight up the coast road to St Helen's. We stayed at fairly cheap but pretty good place called Sweetwater villa's in town, $60 per couple per night. On Sunday we headed back to the Elephants Pass pancake parlour near St Mary's for breakfast.
We took the Lake Leake rd to Campbell Town, then to the Ross bakery and finally back to Hobart via the Midland Hwy. All up we did 534 km of trouble free riding on some of the best motorcycle roads in Tassie in glorious sunny Autumn weather, 19-20 degrees. The only down side was after two days of hard riding the back shocky start to feel a little soft. So it looks like I may have to replace it, I would appreciate any advice on what I should replace it with. DaveM has already suggested I look at Olin's, but thinks they are fair pricey.
Anyway just thought I would share with you all a fantastic weekend here in Tassie, safe travels to you all.
