ecrabbit96, there should be Mikunis on the 95 TBirds unless they've been swapped.
Cecfelix, how many miles are on the carbs?
The Mikunis had a peculiar wear problem in that the needle rubs against the needle jet and wears out both parts. Check your needles for flat or 'shiny' spots on the tapered portion and also for wear in the needle jets.
As I remember it, the wear causes excessive fuel consumption and rough running in the rpm range you're talking about
There's a cutaway drawing of a generic CV-type carb in my photo album that will show you where the needle jet is located -- above the main jet.
