So...

Got a bit cocky over the weekend and took my M3 around a 25mph corner at 80mph w/traction control off...the back end came around so fast, couldn't counter, took it over a curb and blew out both front tires...no damage to the car, no one hurt...thank God....

Why use a car example on this page? *****, as I'm breaking in the S3, she's a BEAST. I think many view naked bikes as wimpier than fared racers, but, *****...you can get into A LOT of trouble on an S3...for all newbies, be aware, the Speed Triple is A LOT of motorcycle, more than most would think, even for experienced riders.

Point of my post??

Ride within your limits...actually, ride below your limits...bad stuff can happen so quickly. I'm a 38 year old father of 2 so view this post as a "concerned dad" for all of us riding these incredible machines.

Having stated the above, I cannot wait to get the S3 on a track...that's where you can get your personal hero out of the way...

:hammer:
