I can't speak for the new Ural 750's, which I understand have electric start and travel at acceptable highway speeds. I owned a 97 Ural Tourist. It was happiest at 40-45 mph. some of the castings weren't up to BMW airhead standards (Ural was patterned after those engines). It needed pretty constant looking after, regular maintenance was a must.

But it was a blast on country roads. It was only one wheel drive, but I was still able to do some back-yard baja. Gravel? No problem. Snowy roads? no problem.

If I could have one of everything, I would definitely get one of those military looking two wheel drives. Accessories-shovel, gas can, machine gun and rocket launcher.
