I don't blame ya for having the dealer do it while under warranty. I would too but the dealer is 110 miles away so it's a bit of a pain. I did ask about the warranty thing as regards the 500 mile service and they told me as long as I used "recommended" oil there wouldn't be a problem.
The 6K service calls for "check this, check that" kinda stuff so I'll probably take it in just in case there are any problems in the future that could be blamed on not having a dealer "check this, check that". :-D
Congrats on the RED '04...best looking S3 ever. But I could be a little biased... :wink:
