You know, I knew people had put their horns under the tank, but I never really appreciate HOW they'd done it. Thanks for posting this. Sometimes the most obvious mods need to be chronicled.

After leaving my horn hanging free in my fairing for about a year, I recently did basically the same thing you did. However, because I'd already removed the little tab on the horn, I had to make a new one. Here it is made out of plexiglass:





We'll see how it holds up over time.
