The clock has luminesence on the hands the thermometer does not......but it is not a strong enough luminesence to really see at night. I wish they were lighted.
But they are high quality pieces and actually worth the money......they aren't swiss watch quality but probably better than the price would indicate. Keep in mind though with the P mounts direct from the formotion website I have $160 in those gauges........no i did not tell the wife how much those cost.
**edit** also wanted to mention that once moving the temp on the thermometer is actually pretty accurate....whithin a degree or two.
