No worries about doubt, as ideas are ideas!

I did do a lot of checking on it today. Hell, I even unbolted the rear subframe and the rear mounts for the gas tank to make sure that everything was lined up properly. Still, to no avail. It just seems as though the tongue on the seat is not completely seating in the area.

I have some issues with mounting the tank (I have to push it forward to get the front portion of the mounting tab to line up properly) and at first thought that something had severely shifted from it's impact over a year ago. But, after looking it over, I doubt it.

Will just have to plod along. It should be ready for inspection in the coming week(s) and on the road! Got the turn signals working (posted in parts swapping thread), headlights squared away, and all the majors fixed. Even ordered a new set of frame sliders from Skyking. Just waiting on those and the sidestand switch (from bikebandit....have to learn to order at least 2-3 weeks in advance of when I want the part from them) and it's ready for the road.

Hoping to see SDFour and all at Summit in June! I'll still be getting used to the bike before I decide to take it on a track run, but for now......the seat rattles!!!!

:-D

I will probably come up with some sort of bracket/adapter that will better "grab" the front of the seat. Will post some picks.....unless it looks too shoddy
