Sorry, this is long

Funny you mention that becuase I've had nothing but trouble with Great Bay from day one (well actually two weeks in). First off I didnt ask for a dime off of anything and paid full price for all accesories (~$1500 worth) and they gave me no smoking deal on a leftover 03, figuring if I needed any favors it would get taken care of, wrong.

First was a leaky radiatior, no big deal right... well 11 days later I had to call them and remind them that I had only had the bike for a week and a half (500mi) and they needed to get on it. Only after I thretned to come get the bike and the parts and do it myself did they do it. The next issue was the rear footpegs, I had the CF High can installed and had them put the footpeg adapter kit on. When I got home I noticed that the peg was rubbing the muffler, again no big deal, I'll just remove the pegs for now and make a longer spacer.... the tech. cross threded and stripped BOTH tabs in the frame. So I informed them and I was told the next time it went in they would heli-coil the holes, great, thats fine right. Well now the brakes start pulsing so I bring it in for that and they say they cant feel it, everything is normal. They had 3 people ride it (2 ride S3's) and no one felt it, I had 3 people ride it and they all felt it, strange. So the "heli-coil" job turned into wind the same bolts back in the same holes but just loctite the som'bitches in there. There was so much loctite on there it was dripping off the back, i had to heat them to get them out, I must look stupid! So i dropped that issue, and drilled and tapped the holes and made a proper spacer.

Now back to the brakes. I work in service for a small boat retailer in NH so I know whats involved in warranty work and what not, but this is ridiculous. To tell me they dont feel it rubs me the wrong way. The first time i brought it in for the brakes they told me the steering head bearing was loose so he tightened it . He told me that he goes a little tighter than factgory spec for the S3's and Daytonas, he though i might be feeling the loose bearing and thinking it was the brakes, fine i'll try anything to get it sorted out. He told me he "cleaned" the braks too, well when i left I about rear ended a mini van because the brakes were not half what they used to be, granted they werent pulsing... but they werent working either. As the feel came back so did the pulsing. They did a run out test on it and everyt thing checked out. If they truly dont feel it fine, there is nothing they can do. After that didnt work (and the steering was too tight) they tried to tell me it was the floating rotors that i was feeling, then it was just the suspension working on the road conditions.... blah blah... but they still insist they dont feel anything. They are just covering their ass, i realize that, if they order new rotors and Triumph declines it, they are out the cost of the rotors, sucks for them. On the same token if they lose 1 unhappy customer its no skin off their back, they'd rather not have my business if I'm not happy, they make up for it with the happy customers like above. So the ball is in their court but I'm trying to be reasonable with them, I'm not an*****. I understand they dont make the bikes but its their obligation to service them. Its almost time to try and talk to a Triumph rep. to get this sorted out.

Chris
