I've a pair of Held Akiras: carbon knuckles, kangaroo palms, and rivets in the palm. I like the gloves, but the rivets don't get along well with the bar-end mirrors, so I'm thinking of a new pair, and moving the Akiras to backup.
Held Phantoms: replace the rivets with stingray skin. Seem very nice, but found a Ride magazine glove comparison bashing the embroidered logo on the index finger.
Ku****ani: have soft knuckles, no rivets. Same Ride article didn't have them ranked very highly for the price.
BKS: very nice, but very very expensive.
Others I'd consider are Alpinestars GP plus or pro. Helimot?
