Great stuff John. Looking forward to completion almost as much as you. You're right about unchartered waters - it's a brave voyage. But we all know you have the navigation qualities. It's going to be fantastic. Ride height adjustable Ohlins?? Great!

Thanks Eric - I probably should measure the rake and trail when its all done - that extra length on the F3 fork tubes could come in very handy at this stage. I've raised the forks to compensate for the 17 front wheel but now the longer rear shocks are taking more rake out of the equation - but having the chopper like rake of the stocker to begin with I'll still be no where close to the small amount of rake many sport bikes currently run. Make no mistake this will NOT be handling like a 600RR or any other modern sport bike for that matter. But the frame is VERY stout (and heavy)
and with great tires and suspension pieces should make for a VERY fun ride.
