I have a Joe Rocket Alter Ego, I really like it it has zip off panels to leave a mesh jacket, and a zip out rain liner. It is now my all season jacket. When it gets cold and rainy I have a warmandsafe.com heated jacket and love it to death. I rode in 3 degree Celsius weather and was quite comfortable.
If you are really hot you can put a Sahara vest under the mesh it is designed to evap water to keep you cool.
