Kick ass bike - check
Helmet - check
Gloves - check
Oddly disturbing smile plastered to face at triple digits - check
Annoying oil pressure light - check

So I bought this bike from a local dealer two months ago and I've put around 1k on the ticker (now to 20k miles). Two weeks ago I went to change the plugs and discovered how fragile the quick disconnect nozzles for the fuel lines are. Last weekend I replaced those along with the plugs and now the oil pressure light comes on below 1500 revs. It only does it after the bike warms up and only if the bike has been in motion for a couple of miles. The bike still runs and sounds fine.

Bad oil pressure sensor? What's the likelihood of heavy sediment in the sump that plugs the oil pump at low idle? I'll know more when I crack open the oil filter this weekend but in the mean time I'm trying to psych myself up for the worst and guesstimate what a rebuild could run.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks
