FWIW I doubt you'll be taxing the jack as some... other... brands would.

That said, a I have a craftsmen jack, and two friends have them too. One has a Harley of one kind or another (they all look the same to me), and the other a GL1300 Goldwing. Neither are little bikes. I use mine for my XS650, which is a lightweight compared to theirs, but weighs a solid 400 lbs. I haven't heard of any problems, personally...

One thing about negative reviews is that people who have problems are far more motivated to comment the satisfied consumers such as myself...

I've been reading a lot of negative reviews on the craftsman site recently, but have yet to have a problem with anything I own, I my tools are pretty much all craftsman... I've got more confidence buying from them, and will until I experience a problem.
