Hi there,

My installation has evolved into what you see in the pictures.

Basically it is all done with R.A.M. mounts.

The base mount is this one clicky This was secured to the fairing using stainless allen bolts and nylock nuts

Then i have two connector arms clicky to give the unit some articulation which allows the GPS to sit above the gauges and idiot lights and as far out of the weather as possible.

The Garmin GPS has got this base plate clicky
to complete the install. This is bolted to the cradle that the Streetpilot sits in.

The last modification that i made was to remove the stick antenna, and mount the flat pod aerial behind the lower part of the screen at the front. This allows the GPS to be mounted a lot closer behind the screen.

Hope this helps ?
