I have been using Napoleon or similar bar-ends on my TBS since 1998. The "Similar" ones were the first, chrome, and the mounting device had metal spreaders that gripped the inside of my non-stock bars. Once tightened down, they wouldn't rotate inside the bars at all, which I thought was pretty good. But when I broke one off, (I don't remember how anymore) I couldn't get the spreaders out without rigging some sort of puller with an old deep-well socket. The Napoleons have a rubber insert that grips the inside of the bar, and I've decided that I like it better. As I use superbike bend bars mounted upside down, the modifications you have to do to make it work with the stock bars don't apply. But don't try to pull out the stock bar inserts - That's why I had to buy new bars in the first place!
