So I low sided speedy yesterday while canyon carving. While hitting a curve at 60 mph I hit some gravel, I was able to bring it back up but hit a second patch of gravel and went down. My best friend was right behind me in his Vette and saw everything. The bike slid at least 60' or so before it went into the ditch and I was sliding and tumbling for about 30' or so. Without a doubt the helmet saved my head, it has some nice gashes on it now, $500 well spent. Of course I was dump enough not having my riding jacket on, I did s***** my right arm but it's not that bad. My neck and back hurts but other than that I'm good.

I was amazed how the Sky King sliders protected the bike. The tank is almost untouched but the right side panel has some scratches when it went into the ditch.

Now the bad, I broke the rear brake lever, headlights are pointing every direction but strait, the steering stop broke, bent handle bar (I hope that's what it is and not the fork).

I did order a new brake lever so I'm set on that. I'm looking for a handle bar that is a little bit more aggressive, what do you guys think? Which one should I buy? I always wanted to change the look of my headlights, so this is the time to do so, what other headlights that are our there that looks great. I still want to stay with double lights. I guess I have to order the steering part thingy from the dealer. It's the black clamp that goes under where the fork and frame meets. I just hope my forks are not bent. I did ride speedy back home and it handled with out a problem so I guess if my forks are f-up I would've had handling problems right?

Thanks in advance for the help.

Ride safe
