Just got my new TORs today. My initial observation is that they are a very high finish and the quality looks good. On holding them up to the light and eyeballing internally, I am surprised to see they are completely straight-through without any impeding baffle what-so-ever.
I decided against the Staintunes because of expense and also the fact they are supposed to be louder - I like character but not loud. The Staintunes also have a removable baffle for even more noise. The TORs have none in the first place and are quieter than the baffle-in Staintunes - how can this be?
I guess the only thing to do is put them on and see.
