I have the Nady you mention - I found it to be very useful at town and mid-speeds when riding with my mate who had the same device. But at highway speeds and with greater separation between the bikes - not very good at all. I think the fault lies in the cheap headsets rather than the unit itself. The combination of wind roar over the mike and the single speaker was too much.
By the way - we had no luck with the VOX operation, we always used the Push to Talk.
