I like the look of TOR's and I wanted to keep my Scrambler looking "stock", so they suited me fine. If you rejet the bike correctly, you should be able to still drive quietly when leaving your house at 5am, but also get loud when that person is talking on the phone and changing lanes into you. They don't make much noise at lower RPM's.
