It is not difficult and can be done with the bike on the sidestand. You need the T55 torx wrench and some blue loctite. The two black plates are side sensitive. At first glance they look identical but they are shaped differently and are different lengths. If you look at the instruction page you can see which side goes where. Don't ask me how I know this. The instruction page is simple because the job is simple. You will love it after it is fitted!
