Hey guys, I can tell you how mesh holds up in a crash. I have an Alpinestars T-Stunt Airflo/Mesh jacket. I went down at about 40mph and slid across two lanes and into a curb. I landed hard on my right elbow/forearm and luckily the armor in the jacket goes around the elbow and down the arm a bit. I did wear a hole through the mesh on my arm, but the hard CE armor held up fine, I didn't even have a bruise on that arm. There are a few spots on my chest and shoulder that are worn, but not all the way through also.

Basically, I think the mesh itself, did ok, but not well. Although with the additional armor, I'm impressed. I recommend a mesh jacket for average riding (65mph) when it's really hot. It kept me much cooler than my perf. leather jacket. JUST MAKE SURE IT HAS GOOD ARMOR in the critical areas or you'll be hurting probably if you go down.

Hope this helps.
