Davo,

The Hyde pipes I fitted are not as noisy as tor's (at lower revs) but rasp a bit when revved hard. I have the little mute sleeves fitted as supplied, but I now have a pair of VW Beetle mutes to try when I get back from work (next week) I want to have a quiet option for touring later in the year.

Scrambler / Hyde pipes

ps. Davo, I had a Hyde steering damper fitted when I was trying to iron out high speed handling issues, it worked ok but I fixed the problems better by changing other things. I sold the damper on to a Thruxton owner in Paris.
