This is kinda funny because I've been thinking about this. What bike would I get if I traded in the RS? I really like the Speed Triple and Kaw Z1000 but I do some long rides and a 500+mi day on one doesn't sound like much fun, don't really care for any of the repli-racers, I must be getting old as comfort now factors in :razz: , I did try a Daytona out when I took the RS in for the fuel fitting recall... with bars the same height as the RS (about 2 1/2 in higher) I think that would make the top three on the replacement list, but my RS seems like it has better low to mid power, I know the 'Tona makes more HP and torque but it seemed very Japanese like, not much lowend with kick on top, which is great for racing but I don't race. A Ducati Multistrada feels nice sitting on in the showroom but I'd buy a family mobile before spending that much on a bike.
Final conclusion was I'd get a newer RS if anything, although the 'Tona with helibars made me wish for a few days :-D
